To Bring Awareness to Clayton County that CCFIP is here to stay and promote responsible fatherhood; thereby enhancing the lives of our youth, families and communities.
The Clayton County Fatherhood Initiative Partnership is an organization borne of collaborations developed originally to combat gang violence through a Compassion Capital Fund for building capacity grant through the Morehouse School of Medicine’s Technical Assistance Support Center (MSMTASC). During the eleven month “Round Table” collaborative exercises that followed, the partners discovered evidence of a very distinct correlation between gang violence and absentee fathers. Hence, the establishment of the CCFIP to create, enhance and support community-wide collaborative alliances designed to promote responsible fatherhood.
